I have been using this app for a while and it was working just fine. Recently it has changed so that you cant watch the actual news in full screen. Very small, very frustrating.

I could open wood tv, huffington post and cnn before this app would load. If you can fix the load time, it would be a great app

Terribly written articles that are usually incredibly vague and hugely lacking in detail. I can almost always find an error. Articles are typically updated late. Design and ease of use is great. Weather is typically wrong and changes frequently throughout the day. Example: weather says its cloudy and 70 and its really 100% sunny and 82. Old news is kept on without relevant updates as a filler.

The website too often boots me off, especially when trying to view the national news. The news content is good, but please edit your spelling and grammar, especially the titles. My wife and I appreciate the positive approach that the news team uses whenever possible, and Brent Ashcrofts features are great.

Big and bold displays. Love it.

This is a downgrade from last app. More advertisements and Facebook articles. The weather and closing a arent as easy. More memory space.. Cant view old articles like before. DOWNGRADE! Time to find a their competitors app. But theyre probably making money for something not as good. No thank you. Barry county not represented in elections and stories

Stable, good content and what you would expect out of a local news app.

So glad I have this app! Keeps me up to date with everything. I wouldnt be without it on my phone! Thanks WZZM!

The news is welcome and good follow-up, as well. Can the weather be in the newsfeed? And, slow upload at start and too many commercials! 4/5 is a good rating considering the problems.

Easy to navigate. Great current content. Accurate weather. Love the instant alert notifications for breaking news and weather.

This app is too cumbersome and clunky to navigate. Too dependent on video. Not worth the download.

The app takes forever to load, and far more often than not the news link I followed doesnt point to an online article at all. Good thing they are better at reporting news than making a useful app - because this app isnt.

App has been ruined by advertising ! Ever since the last update advertising has taken over!!

I just downloaded this after being frustrated with the local competitions app. Easy to use. Video streamed fairly seamlessly. Thanks for a reliable local news app!!

This is the only Grand Rapids news station app that actually works. Its not great, but does the job.

Nothing like getting an alert, especially an amber alert, that is 4 days old. This app drives me nuts! Cant you fix this issue?

As per the norm, WZZM abandoned simplicity for a slick appearance more friendly to money-makings ads. Open the app and youre greeted by an apocalyptic "14 weather alerts" in a thick red banner across the top. Holy crap, is the world coming to an end? No. Its just the same alert for 14 different counties. Does someone in Kent County really care that Calhoun County has the same frost advisory? And is that really two separate advisories? On top of that, is a mid-October frost really worth the massive red warning box? Thankfully, the "extended" forecast is now actually extended past the three days of the old app. The only problem is we now have to scroll past a giant ad to get there. Also, navigating now requires two "touches" instead of one. To get to sorta, you used to simply touch sports. Now, you have to touch the menu drop down and then touch sports. Slick, ad-friendly app. Too slick, not-as-user-friendly app.

Go back to what you had before this "upgrade".... All you had to do was read the reviews for wood TV 8 and avoid their mistakes, instead you just copied their format.... How sad.... Go back to the last version and tweak it.... Dont abandon it altogether for this new format.

This app is slow to load new content and ads tend to be big making them hard to scroll through. The previous app was better. But the news is still decent.
